Sunlight cascades down like water through the narrow slot above in Antelope Canyon.  Bouncing and reflecting off the walls the light creates varied  yellow, orange, and red colors.  The natural sunlight is redners blue in comparison to this warm bounced light, and when combined with the azure sky reflecting in the rock, mixes together creating varied blues and magentas.  Much of the canyon is very dark with intense beams of light, but even in the dark areas the camera is able to render these subtle color differences that the eye is often unable to see.
